T\u00e1 Comhairle Contae Mhuineach\u00e1n<\/strong> ag lorg \/<\/strong> Monaghan County Council are seeking <\/strong><\/p>\n l\u00e9irithe sp\u00e9ise \u00f3 Eala\u00edont\u00f3ir\u00ed gairmi\u00fala<\/u><\/strong> \/expressions of interest from professional<\/u><\/strong> artists<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n (open to various Art practices<\/u>, oscailte do chleachtais Eala\u00edne \u00e9ags\u00fala<\/u>)<\/p>\n IN RENTING NON-RESIDENTIAL STUDIOS\/ WORKSPACE<\/u> FOR INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS<\/u><\/p>\n 2 studios available<\/strong> + 1 flexible project space<\/strong><\/p>\n Submissions of interest SHOULD INCLUDE<\/u> THE FOLLOWING:<\/p>\n (1 artist submission per year)<\/p>\n This should include the type of work or process you wish to carry out<\/p>\n A project supported by the European Union\u2019s PEACE IV Programme,<\/em><\/p>\n managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)<\/em><\/p>\n Monaghan County Council<\/strong> will provide a Licence\/ Lease agreement<\/u> to the Professional Artist(s) who wish to undertake a specific Project or engage in the development of their creative work Practise. All Art forms will be considered, having due regard to the limitations of the building. It will not be possible to accommodate Artists who might work in larger scale or who use materials unsuited to the fabric of building. The building\u2019s architectural design and layout does limit access within the building.<\/p>\n Clones Artists\u2019 Studios<\/strong> is owned and operated by Monaghan County Council<\/strong>. The Artist led workspace & facility was co-founded by Monaghan Artists Collective the Artists Eileen Ferguson and Joanne Behan in 2011. It has been refurbished with the generous support of funding from the An Roinn Turas\u00f3ireachta, Cult\u00fair, Eala\u00edon, Gaeltachta, Sp\u00f3irt agus Me\u00e1n | Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media<\/em> and as a project supported by the European Union\u2019s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).<\/em><\/p>\n A dedicated programme will be devised in the next year which will aim to deliver on some of the key aspirations of our funding partners that will form part of the creative output of the Studios<\/p>\n Clones Artists\u2019 Studios is in the old Victorian Post Office which was built in 1903 and situated in the historic town of Clones, County Monaghan https:\/\/www.clones-ireland.com\/<\/a><\/strong> this building is a Heritage listed Building situated in a central location of the Town.<\/p>\n Clones<\/strong> is the administrative town of the Municipal district of Ballybay – Clones<\/u> https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/ballybay-clones-municipal-district\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Clones Artists Studios is a key facility in the one of the County\u2019s premier cultural events the annual Clones Film Festival<\/strong>, held at the October bank holiday weekend https:\/\/www.clonesfilmfestival.com\/<\/a><\/strong> and is a venue for Culture Night<\/strong> held in September.<\/p>\n Clones is also only 15mins away<\/u> from the Internationally renowned The Tyrone Guthrie Centre <\/strong>http:\/\/www.tyroneguthrie.ie\/<\/strong><\/a> at Annaghmakerrig<\/u> a residential workplace with a residency programme in Ireland for artists of all disciplines.<\/p>\n https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ClonesArtStudios<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Rent: \u20ac 150 per month per studio,<\/strong> considered as full-time occupancy<\/p>\n Studio 1 <\/strong>(access by narrow Stairs) Dimensions<\/u> 17.2m2, Ceiling Height 3m<\/p>\n Studio 2 <\/strong>(access by narrow stairs) Dimensions<\/u> 13.7m2, Ceiling height 3m<\/p>\n Flexible project space <\/strong>Rent \u20ac75 p\/w<\/u> (old sorting office) Fully accessible<\/p>\n The Artists\u2019 Studio provides secure, bright, and heated workspace with Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n Criteria & Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n Access into the building will be from 8am \u2013 8pm Submissions will be assessed on the following Criteria by An Arts Panel:<\/p>\n\n
