Introduction<br \/>\nMonaghan County Council invites expressions of interest from creative practitioners, artists, cultural organisations, educational institutions, community groups, and enterprises interested in utilising Unit 1, at Market Square, Carrickmacross for projects, exhibitions, performances, workshops, and\/or other innovative projects.<br \/>\nThis Expression of Interest (EOI) seeks to identify a potential operator who can contribute to Monaghan County Council\u2019s mission of heritage preservation, cultural and arts engagement, and community enrichment while respecting the unique historical significance of the building.<br \/>\nThis EOI does not constitute a commitment to enter into any agreement.<\/p>\n<p>2. Objectives<br \/>\nThe objectives of this initiative are to:<br \/>\n\u2022Support creative and innovative uses of heritage spaces<br \/>\n\u2022Enhance public engagement with Carrickmacross\u2019 historical and cultural significance<br \/>\n\u2022Foster community connections and educational opportunities<br \/>\n\u2022Generate diverse and compelling programmes\/projects that attract visitors<br \/>\n\u2022Preserve and celebrate the unique character of the Market Square while enabling contemporary use<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3. Eligible Activities<br \/>\nWe welcome expressions of interest for a wide range of activities, including but not limited to:<br \/>\n\u2022Art exhibitions (visual arts, sculpture, photography, multimedia)<br \/>\n\u2022Performance arts (theatre, music, dance, spoken word)<br \/>\n\u2022Educational workshops and programmes<br \/>\n\u2022Historical research and interpretation projects<br \/>\n\u2022Community engagement initiatives<br \/>\n\u2022Heritage and conservation projects<br \/>\n\u2022Film and media production<br \/>\n\u2022Cultural festivals and events<br \/>\n\u2022Pop-up retail or hospitality concepts with cultural or heritage focus<\/p>\n<p>All proposed activities must be compatible with the conservation and protection of the historic site and must enhance the visitor experience.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>4. Submission Requirements<br \/>\nInterested parties are requested to submit the following information:<br \/>\nApplicant Information<br \/>\n\u2022Name of individual, organisation, or group<br \/>\n\u2022Contact details (address, phone, email)<br \/>\n\u2022Brief background and relevant experience<\/p>\n<p>Project Proposal<br \/>\n\u2022Project title and brief description<br \/>\n\u2022Objectives and intended outcomes<br \/>\n\u2022Target audience and expected visitor numbers<br \/>\n\u2022Proposed timeline and duration<\/p>\n<p>4.2 Heritage and Site Compatibility<br \/>\n\u2022How the project respects and responds to the historic nature of the site<br \/>\n\u2022Any conservation considerations or requirements<\/p>\n<p>4.3 Resources and Budget<br \/>\n\u2022Outline budget (if applicable)<br \/>\n\u2022Funding sources or grant applications<br \/>\n\u2022Insurance arrangements<\/p>\n<p>4.4 Supporting Materials<br \/>\n\u2022Visual materials (images, sketches, mood boards) where relevant<br \/>\n\u2022Examples of previous work or similar projects<br \/>\n\u2022References or letters of support<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>5.
