The Arts Partnership Grant Scheme supports established arts organisations, festivals and artistic projects across County Monaghan, enabling high-quality arts programming, audience development and opportunities for professional artists while contributing to the county’s cultural life.<\/p>\n

Paying the Artist is fundamental to decisions made under this scheme. For more information https:\/\/www.artscouncil.ie\/about\/artists-pay-policy<\/a><\/p>\n

Guidelines: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. This scheme is open to Arts Organisations, Arts Festivals, and Arts Projects that are based in Co Monaghan.<\/li>\n
  2. Applicants must demonstrate a track record of achievement in the delivery of the arts in County Monaghan.<\/li>\n
  3. Applicants MUST<\/u> apply to the Arts Council for funding. An acknowledgement from the Arts Council confirming this should be submitted with application.<\/li>\n
  4. The schemes\u2019 focus is firmly placed on the artist, public engagement and activities that have the Arts at their core.<\/li>\n
  5. MCC\u2019s Framework agreement with The Arts Council has three Shared Strategic Actions in its delivery, familiarise yourself with them. See 2(B) <\/strong>on the Application Form. https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/arts\/arts-policy\/<\/a>
    \nIn your application form please mark which of these goals your submission might address & fulfil.<\/li>\n
  6. The headings are a guide to enable the artistic quality, content, and track record to be discussed and validated by the assessment panel.<\/li>\n
  7. The assessment of the artistic content within your application will be made by a panel using judgement, experience & artistic endeavour.<\/li>\n
  8. Funding received from Monaghan County Council can only be used for your Artistic Programme, not administrative, utility or salary costs.<\/li>\n
  9. In the panels assessment and deliberation process, it will be deemed that funding will not be considered to submissions where at least 50% of the requested amount cannot be met.<\/li>\n
  10. Successful applicants will be required to acknowledge funding from Monaghan County Council & The Arts Council in all access points and social media platforms.<\/li>\n
  11. Due to the competitive nature of this scheme, it will not be possible to fund all eligible applicants. Eligibility and compliance with criteria alone do not guarantee a grant offer.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
