Launch of Phase 2 \u2013 Community Climate Action Programme<\/strong><\/p>

Monaghan County Council is pleased to announce the launch of Phase 2 of the Community Climate Action Programme, supporting 20 community groups across County Monaghan to deliver practical, locally led climate action projects.<\/p>

A total of \u20ac437,892.90 has been secured for this phase, funded by the Government of Ireland and administered by Monaghan County Council.<\/p>

The projects funded include a range of measures such as renewable energy installations, energy efficiency upgrades, active travel supports, and biodiversity and water conservation initiatives.<\/p>

Collectively, these projects will contribute directly to the delivery of the Monaghan County Council Climate Action Plan by reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, enhancing biodiversity, and supporting sustainable behaviours at community level.<\/p>

A full list of approved projects is provided below. Updates will be shared here as works progress and projects are delivered across the county.<\/p>
