{"id":1477,"date":"2021-12-17T11:32:34","date_gmt":"2021-12-17T11:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/communitydevelopment\/?p=1477"},"modified":"2023-01-11T12:31:38","modified_gmt":"2023-01-11T12:31:38","slug":"community-activities-fund-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/communitydevelopment\/2021\/12\/17\/community-activities-fund-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Activities Fund 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #a61919;\"><strong><u>This Scheme is now closed.<br \/>\nApplications are being assessed and the outcome will be known following the March LCDC meeting<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong><u>Community Activities Fund 2022<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Funding of \u20ac265,142 has been awarded for County Monaghan for the Community Activities Fund under the Community Enhancement Programme.\u00a0 The fund will be administered by Monaghan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC).\u00a0 The Community Activities Fund (CAF) is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development.\u00a0 the scheme was launched at national level by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, and the Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development and Charities, Joe O\u2019Brien TD.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Community Activities Fund will support groups, particularly in disadvantaged areas, with their non-pay running\/operating costs, as well as funding to carry out necessary repairs and improvements to their facilities and purchase equipment. The scheme does not provide funding for the pay or employment of staff. <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any not-for-profit community or voluntary group can apply to this Fund<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Commercial organisations, individuals and for-profit organisations are not eligible for assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Notes<\/em><\/strong><em>:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Requests for assistance usually exceed the funds available. The Programme is likely to be oversubscribed.\u00a0 Therefore, all applications fulfilling the conditions may not be successful or may be granted a lesser amount than applied for.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be evaluated by the LCDC to ensure eligibility and consistency with the Local Economic and Community Plan 2016-2021 (LECP) which can be viewed at the following link <a href=\"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/communitydevelopment\/local-economic-and-community-plan-lecp\/\">https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/communitydevelopment\/local-economic-and-community-plan-lecp\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applications must be made <a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/documents.monaghancoco.ie\/Forms\/CAF2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>online <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Guidelines are available <a href=\"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/communitydevelopment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/12\/Guidelines-for-Community-Activities-Fund-under-CEP-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>You will be asked during the application process to supply the ITM co-ordinates for your project\u2019s location.
