Successful applicants will be contacted shortly. There remains funding of over \u20ac50,000 available to allocate to projects under operating costs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We now invite applications from community organisations who wish to seek assistance towards their running costs for the period 1<sup>st<\/sup> July 2021 to 30<sup>th<\/sup> June 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any not-for-profit community or voluntary group can apply to this Fund<\/li>\n<li>Groups which have already made an application for running costs under Round 1 need not reapply, but may make an application to Round 2 for costs that they did not include in their Round 1 application.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial organisations, individuals and for-profit organisations are not eligible for assistance<\/li>\n<li>Schools and churches will not normally be considered for support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Notes<\/em><\/strong><em>:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Requests for assistance usually exceed the funds available. The Programme is likely to be oversubscribed.\u00a0 Therefore, all applications fulfilling the conditions may not be successful or may be granted a lesser amount than applied for.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be made <strong>online <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please read the Guidelines before making an application<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/communitydevelopment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2022\/03\/Guidelines-for-Community-Activities-Fund-under-CEP-2021-Round-2.docx\">Guidelines For Community Activities Fund<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/documents.monaghancoco.ie\/Forms\/CAF2022R2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">APPLY ONLINE HERE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is an online application process only and hard copy application forms will not be accepted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Closing date for receipt of completed online applications is <strong><u>5.00 p.m. Friday 25<sup>th<\/sup> March 2022\u00a0\u00a0 <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>At this time, the online portal will close and it will not be possible to submit further applications.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For any queries please email: <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:communitygrants@monaghancoco.ie\">communitygrants@monaghancoco.ie<\/a><strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Further information about the Community Activities Fund:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Funding of \u20ac265,142 has been awarded for County Monaghan for the Community Activities Fund under the Community Enhancement Programme. The Community Activities Fund (CAF) is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and is administered by Monaghan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC). The scheme was launched at national level by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, and the Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development and Charities, Joe O\u2019Brien TD.<\/p>\n<p>Round 1 of the Fund closed to applications on 31<sup>st<\/sup> January 2022,\u00a0 and decisions were made at the March LCDC meeting. Recommendations have been forwarded to the Dept and it is expected that the outcome of the Round 1 assessment process will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n<p>If you made an application for running costs to Round 1,\u00a0 it is not necessary to make a repeat application to Round 2 for the same costs.\u00a0 However, if you have supplementary information which you did not have at the time,\u00a0 or wish to include additional bills,\u00a0 you can do so by making a fresh application to Round 2 and it will be added to your original application and reassessed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following an initial call for applications, which closed at end January, the budget for capital projects within this Fund has now been allocated.
