Monaghan County Council is committed to promoting positive attitudes to disability in our communities, as they are key to achieving inclusion and ensuring people with disabilities can reach their full potential. We are now inviting applications for the Disability Participation and Awareness Grant Scheme 2022. The purpose of the fund is to provide funding to support the participation of people with disabilities in local activities and to
\nhelp remove barriers to community involvement.<\/p>\n

Applications are welcome from community\/voluntary groups and organisations within County Monaghan who\u00a0cater for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

Eligible applications will be individually assessed against the guidelines of the grant scheme. Types of projects
\nwhich are likely to be considered for funding include:
\n\u2022 works to improve accessibility at existing community facilities.
\n\u2022 the purchase of equipment
\n\u2022 the provision of facilitators, training programmes and\/or the provision of activities.<\/p>\n
