{"id":859,"date":"2018-06-26T15:58:06","date_gmt":"2018-06-26T14:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/communitydevelopment\/?p=859"},"modified":"2018-09-07T16:02:13","modified_gmt":"2018-09-07T15:02:13","slug":"community-enhancement-programme-july-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/communitydevelopment\/2018\/06\/26\/community-enhancement-programme-july-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Enhancement Programme &#8211; July 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Monaghan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is pleased to launch the new Community Enhancement Programme 2018.\u00a0 Funding in the amount of \u20ac132,571 has been made available for the county by the Department of Rural and Community Development which will be administered through the LCDC.Monaghan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is pleased to launch the new Community Enhancement Programme 2018.\u00a0 Funding in the amount of \u20ac132,571 has been made available for the county by the Department of Rural and Community Development which will be administered through the LCDC.<\/p>\n<p>Organisations eligible for funding include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Locally based community and voluntary groups in disadvantaged urban and rural areas,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Not-for-profit organisations, and<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Government Departments and State Agencies (in cases of leveraging funding).<\/p>\n<p>Those not eligible for funding include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Commercial organisations, individuals and for-profit organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Projects or elements of project of a capital nature may be funded.\u00a0 These include, for example, office equipment, project resources, research facilities, energy efficiency equipment, development\/enhancement of community centres, once off maintenance of premises, community amenities, youth clubs or facilities, sports\/recreation facilities, improvements to town parks\/common areas\/spaces, CCTV Equipment, public realm improvements, streetscaping, play\/recreation spaces, energy efficiency type projects.<\/p>\n<p>Requests for assistance usually exceed the funds available.
