During the course of our activities we will collect, store and process personal data about our customers. Monaghan County Council is the data controller in respect of this data.<\/p>\n<p>Monaghan County Council creates, collects and processes a significant amount of \u2018personal data\u2019 and \u2018sensitive personal data\u2019 in various multiple formats daily. Our commitment is to ensure that the personal data supplied is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtained lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner,<\/li>\n<li>Collected for only specified, explicit and legitimate purposes,<\/li>\n<li>Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained,<\/li>\n<li>Recorded, stored accurately and where necessary kept up to date,<\/li>\n<li>Kept for no longer that is necessary, and, in a form, which permits identification of the data subject,<\/li>\n<li>Processed in a manner that ensures the appropriate security of the personal data including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing of the data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For full details of the collection, processing and sharing of your personal data by us and your rights in this regard, please see our full \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/privacy-notice\/\">Privacy Notice<\/a> on the website.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><u>What data we collect and process<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The types of personal data that we will collect, and process includes your name, address, phone number, email address, tax clearance number (if applicable) and tax reference number (if applicable).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>We do not collect Special Category Personal Data.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><u>Why do we collect this personal data?<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We collect and process this information in order to manage and administer the relationship between you and us for the purpose of assessing and processing your funding application under the Community Climate Action Programme.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><u>Lawfulness of processing<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We process this personal data under Article 6(1)(E) GDPR and in the exercise of official authority vested in us as the controller under Section 66 of the Local Government Act 2001 and the<\/p>\n<p>National Oil Reserve Agency (Amendment) and Provision of Central Treasury Services Act 2020 section 37.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><u>Sharing of Personal Data <\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We may share your Personal Data with selected third parties, including for example the Local Government Auditor, the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications and other government agencies, where required to do so by law. We may also share your data with other Local Authorities, suppliers and other third parties who assist us in fulfilling our functions.
