No. 353 of 1994) &#8211; address Revenue commissioners, \u00a0M.Tech, Armagh Road, Monaghan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revenue.ie\/en\/importing-vehicles-duty-free-allowances\/guide-to-vrt\/reliefs-and-exemptions\/scheme-for-persons-with-disabilities.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.revenue.ie\/en\/importing-vehicles-duty-free-allowances\/guide-to-vrt\/reliefs-and-exemptions\/scheme-for-persons-with-disabilities.aspx&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1638625186401000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0ePzZqEfvMObvvLo4Zlcr5\"><strong>https:\/\/www.revenue.ie\/en\/importing-vehicles-duty-free-allowances\/guide-to-vrt\/reliefs-and-exemptions\/scheme-for-persons-with-disabilities.aspx<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Includes vehicles (including any cycle with an attachment for propelling it by mechanical power) not exceeding 400 kilograms in weight (unladen), which is adapted and used for invalids<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Vehicles which are used <u>exclusively<\/u> for the transport (whether by carriage or traction) of lifeboats and their gear or any equipment for affording assistance towards the preservation of life and property in cases of ship-wreck and distress at sea<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles which are used exclusively for the transport (whether by carriage or traction) of road construction machinery used for no purpose other than the construction or repair of roads<\/li>\n<li>Refuse carts, sweeping machines or watering machines used exclusively for cleansing public streets and roads<\/li>\n<li>Ambulances, road-rollers or fire engines<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles kept by a local authority and used exclusively for the purpose of their fire brigade service.<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles which are used exclusively for mountain and cave rescue purposes<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles which are used exclusively for underwater search and recovery purposes<\/li>\n<li>State-owned vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Diplomatic vehicles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following vehicles where \u00a0qualifying as exempt must still display a license disc: Through the Revenue commissioners (047\/62100),\u00a0 Under the Disabled Drivers and Disabled Passengers (Tax Concessions) Regulations, 1994 (S.I.
