{"id":1777,"date":"2018-02-13T12:21:05","date_gmt":"2018-02-13T12:21:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/planning\/?page_id=1777"},"modified":"2018-02-13T12:32:17","modified_gmt":"2018-02-13T12:32:17","slug":"dublin-street-regeneration-plan-variation-no-6","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/planning\/dublin-street-regeneration-plan-variation-no-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Dublin Street Regeneration Plan Variation No. 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NOTICE OF VARIATION OF THE MONAGHAN COUNTY DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2013-2019 (INCORPORATING THE DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR THE TOWNS OF MONAGHAN, CARRICKMACROSS, CASTLEBLAYNEY, CLONES, AND BALLYBAY) \u2013 VARIATION NO.6<\/p>\n<p>Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 13 of the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2010 that on 2nd October 2017 Monaghan County Council made a variation (Variation No. 6) to the Monaghan County Development Plan 2013-2019 (incorporating the Development Plans for the towns of Monaghan, Carrickmacross, Castleblayney, Clones and Ballybay).<\/p>\n<p>The variation incorporates the Dublin Street Regeneration Plan, the purpose of which is to provide guidance on the regeneration options for the future development of the Dublin Street Regeneration Plan area. The proposed variation includes a new objective within the Monaghan Town Development Plan,<\/p>\n<p>Objective MNO 4 to, <em>\u2018Ensure that all development proposals within the Dublin Street Regeneration Plan area have regard to the regeneration strategy and development objectives of the Dublin Street Regeneration Plan.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Reason: To provide a strategic framework to promote development in a coordinated and sustainable manner in this town centre area that has considerable development potential.<\/p>\n<p>A copy of the County Development Plan as varied is available for inspection at the offices of the Planning Authority, Monaghan County Council, The Glen, Monaghan during opening hours from 9.15am \u2013 5pm (lunch time closing 1:00 \u2013 1:30 p.m.).
