{"id":4566,"date":"2021-11-11T09:44:23","date_gmt":"2021-11-11T09:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/planning\/?page_id=4566"},"modified":"2022-01-28T14:07:07","modified_gmt":"2022-01-28T14:07:07","slug":"built-heritage-investment-scheme-2022","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/monaghan.ie\/planning\/built-heritage-investment-scheme-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Monaghan County Council is now inviting applications under the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The BHIS seeks to encourage the investment of private capital in a number of small scale, labour intensive projects to repair and conserve historic structures and to support the employment of skilled and experienced conservation professionals, craftspeople and tradespersons. The scheme is designed to assist the owners and\/or occupiers of structures\/properties that are protected under the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended). \u00a0It will be administered by Monaghan County Council\u2019s Planning Section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The categories of structures\/properties eligible for funding under this scheme are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Protected Structures<\/li>\n<li>Proposed Protected Structures<\/li>\n<li>Structures\/properties in Architectural Conservation Areas or within the amenity of a National Monument, where exceptional circumstances are deemed by the Department to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funding available<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The minimum funding award under this scheme will be \u20ac2,500, up to a maximum of \u20ac15,000.<\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will be required to, at a minimum, match their funding award.
