Preferred Route Corridor, July 2012<\/strong><\/h5>\n

A Preferred Route Corridor has now been determined for the scheme and was presented to Monaghan County Council in July 2012. The preferred route corridor comprises a section of the green route corridor at the southern end of the scheme, with a tie-in to the red route corridor north of Monaghan Town.A summary of the process involved in determining the preferred route corridor is available here;Summary – Route Selection Process (English)<\/a>Summary – Route Selection Process (Gaeilge)<\/a>A large scale map of the route on Ordnance Survey Discovery Series Mapping is available, and larger scale aerial photographs showing the preferred route corridor are available to download as 7 different maps (Aerial Photograph 1 is at the southernmost end of the route corridor, Aerial Photograph 7 is at the northermost end of the route corridor).
