Extreme weather is also a particular hazard at this time of year and motorists can experience heavy rain, gale force winds, flooding, high winds, freezing fog and ice and snow during the Winter season.<\/p>\n<p>Monaghan County Council have launched a dedicated Out of Hours Emergency phone line to help customers report emergency road issues that they encounter. The new <strong>Road Emergency Line- 1800 121 121<\/strong> -phone line is operational 24\/7 and directs callers to report items such as flooding, fallen trees, oil spills, traffic incidents to the local Municipal District area in Co.
