Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Ballybay\/Clones in County Monaghan:<\/p>\n

Date of Closure: <\/strong>Monday 5th June 2023 to Tuesday 13th June 2023 (24 hr closure)<\/p>\n

To Facilitate: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Alterations to existing Vertical Alignment of Roadway and associated Surfacing works<\/p>\n

Road Closed: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>R188 Monaghan to Swans Cross Road in townland of Racane from 200m North of Junction with L24122 to 400m South of Junction with L24122<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0D<\/strong>iversion Routes: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Traffic wishing to proceed northbound on the R188 at Swanns Cross may turn right in the townland of Dromore East at Swanns Cross onto the R183 and continue eastbound along the R183, turn left onto the R162 in Ballybay and continue northbound along the R162 then turn left at the junction of the R188 in the townland of Killygowan.<\/p>\n

Traffic wishing to proceed southbound on the R188 at Killygowan may turn left onto the R162, continue southbound along the R162, then turn right onto the R183 in Ballybay, continue on the R183 then turn left onto the R188 in the townland of Dromore East at Swanns Cross<\/p>\n

Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).<\/p>\n
