Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:<\/p>\n

Date<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Between Tuesday 8th<\/sup> July 2025 at 6pm and Wednesday 9th <\/sup>July 2025 at 6pm<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To Facilitate<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Road Improvement Works<\/p>\n

Road Closed<\/strong>:\u00a0LS5514 Rowantree road from its junction with the N54 North Road, at Mr Price to its junction with the LP1631 High Street at The Monaghan General Hospital Entrance.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Diversion Routes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Westbound traffic will be directed to continue along the N54, then keep in right lane at Flacks Garage, down Glaslough Street, and left at the diamond down Dublin Street. At the roundabout, traffic will be diverted to take the third exit onto Macartan Rd as far as the traffic lights. At the traffic lights travel straight through for N54. At the next roundabout take the third exit onto Park Street. At the split in the road at the Market House keep left and drive to the end of Rowantree Road.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Eastbound traffic will be directed to travel straight down High Street as far as the Market House. At the Market House traffic will be directed to turn left onto Market Street. At the next junction turn left onto Dawson street and drive as far as Rowantree road.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Close of Business Wednesday 2nd<\/sup> July 2025.\u00a0 Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope \u201cObjection To Road Closure\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n
