During the course of our activities we will collect, store and process personal data about our service users. Monaghan County Council is the data controller in respect of this data.<br \/>\nMonaghan County Council creates, collects and processes a significant amount of \u2018personal data\u2019 and \u2018sensitive personal data\u2019 in various multiple formats daily. Our commitment is to ensure that the personal data supplied is:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Obtained lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner<br \/>\n\u2022 Collected for only specified, explicit and legitimate purposes,<br \/>\n\u2022 Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained,<br \/>\n\u2022 Recorded, stored accurately and where necessary kept up to date,<br \/>\n\u2022 Kept for no longer that is necessary, and, in a form, which permits identification of the data subject,<br \/>\n\u2022 Processed in a manner that ensures the appropriate security of the personal data including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing of the data.<\/p>\n<p>For full details of the collection, processing and sharing of your personal data by us and your rights in this regard, please see our full Privacy Notice on the website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What data we collect and process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The types of personal data that we will collect, and process includes members name, address, land registry folio numbers, land ownership maps, Eircodes.<br \/>\nWe do not collect special category personal data.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why do we collect this personal data?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We collect and process this information in order to manage and administer the relationship between you and us for the purpose of assessing:<br \/>\n\u2022 legal queries in respect of provision of public Water and Waste Water Services outside of private property.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lawfulness of processing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We process this personal data<br \/>\n\u2022 Under Art 6 (1) e GDPR and in the exercise of official authority vested in us as the controller under Water Services Act 2007 \u2013 2017<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharing of Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We may share your Personal Data with selected third parties, including for example Irish Water, other Monaghan County Council sections where required to do so by law.
