Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of:
Retained (Part-time) Fire Fighters
for Carrickmacross Fire Station
Inclusive Annual Allowance – Part-Time Fire Service Personnel
0 – 2 years €7,740
2 – 5 years €8,600
5 – 10 Years €9,645
10 years + €10,599
These rates are subject to review on an ongoing basis.
In addition to the above rates per annum fire-fighters can be paid an hourly rate(s) for their attendance at drills, training and attendance at fire-calls.

Applicants must work and reside within a reasonable distance of the said Fire Station to allow him/her to respond within the turnout time of 5 minutes.
A panel will be set up from which any vacancies may be filled during the year.
