Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:               Monday 17th July 2023 to Friday 28th July 2023

Times:                                  9:00am – 17:00pm (Monday-Friday Only)                                                          To Facilitate:                     Surface dressing works

 Road Closed:                     R214      

Diversion Routes:

An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted via:

B3 Derrynoose Road (NI), B3 Castleblayney Road (NI), B3 Davis Street (NI), A29 Kinelowen Street (NI), B132 St Patricks Street (NI), B132 Maddan Road (NI), A3 Monaghan Road (NI), N12 (ROI), R213 (ROI), N2 (ROI) and R214 (ROI).

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Temporary Closing Of Roads – L-6310 in the townlands of Mullymagaraghan, Aghabog and Corduff.

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Ballybay/Clones in County Monaghan:

 

Date of Closure:               Monday 24th July 2023 to Friday 4th August 2023

To Facilitate:                     Bridge Rehabilitation Works

Road Closed:                     L-6310 in the townlands of Mullymagaraghan, Aghabog and Corduff.

Diversion Routes:

Traffic wishing to travel on the L-6310 from the L-2311 will be diverted by remaining on the L-2311/L-2310, then turning left onto the R-189, then turning left onto the L-63101 and continuing to the L-6310.

Traffic wishing to travel on the L-6310 in the direction of the L-2311 will be diverted by turning left onto the L-63101, then turning right onto the R-189, then turning right onto the L-2310 and continuing to the L-2311

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access will be catered for. No through road will be available at the bridge works).

Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan, not later than Tuesday, 4th July 2023. Diversion Routes:

York Street to Muckno Street: Traffic will be diverted right off the R938-0 York Street onto the LT75066 Thomas Street, left onto the LT75065 Henry Street and then right onto the R181-0 Muckno Street.

Muckno Street to York Street: Traffic will be diverted left off the R181-3 Muckno Street onto the LT 75065 Henry/Church Street, then left onto the R938-0 York Street.

Temporary Closing of Roads – LT-12102 Tully Road: For a distance of 1,465m between its junction with the LP 1210 at Derrygassan Lower to the end of the road at Derryhallagh.

Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

Date:     Between Monday 3rd July 2023 and Friday 27th October 2023

(The Road may be closed for a maximum of 3 weeks within the Closure Period)

 

To Facilitate:      Road Improvement Works

Road Closed:

LT-12102 Tully Road: For a distance of 1,465m between its junction with the LP 1210 at Derrygassan Lower to the end of the road at Derryhallagh.

 

Diversion Routes:

Northbound traffic travelling from at Derrygassan Lower to Derryhallagh will be diverted onto the LS-5207 and continue West before turning right onto the N2 towards Emyvale and continue to the junction of the LP-1210. Traffic will turn right and travel east along the LP-1210 Emyvale to Glaslough Road and arrive at Derryhallagh.

Southbound traffic travelling from Derryhallagh to Derrygassan Lower will be diverted left onto the LP-1210 Emyvale to Glaslough and proceed west to the junction with the N2. Traffic will turn left and proceed along the N2 towards Monaghan to the junction with the LS-5207. Traffic will turn left and continue east along the LS-5207 and arrive at Derrygassan Lower.

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

(The Road may be closed for a maximum of 3 weeks within the Closure Period)

To Facilitate:      Road Improvement Works

Road Closed:

LT-10202 Tully Road: For a distance of 1,465m between its junction with the LP 1020 at Derrygassan Lower to the end of the road at Derryhallagh.

Diversion Routes:

Northbound traffic travelling from at Derrygassan Lower to Derryhallagh will be diverted onto the LS-5207 and continue West before turning right onto the N2 towards Emyvale and continue to the junction of the LP-1020.  Traffic will turn right and travel east along the LP-1020 Emyvale to Glaslough Road and arrive at Derryhallagh.

Southbound traffic travelling from Derryhallagh to Derrygassan Lower will be diverted left onto the LP-1020 Emyvale to Glaslough and proceed west to the junction with the N2.  Traffic will turn left and proceed along the N2 towards Monaghan to the junction with the LS-5207.  Traffic will turn left and continue east along the LS-5207 and arrive at Derrygassan Lower.
