Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD, and Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development and Charities, Jerry Buttimer TD, have today (Friday, 13th June) announced the successful projects under the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2025.
The Department of Rural and Community Development and Gaeltacht’s Local Enhancement Programme 2025 is administered by Local Community Development Committees, with support from the Local Authority, in each area.
164 grants totalling €150,835 has been awarded to 152 groups for both capital projects and towards their group’s running costs.
The application process was handled locally on behalf of the government by Monaghan Local Community Development Committee, and the staff of the Community section of Monaghan County Council, who assessed a total of 187 applications before forwarding their recommendations to the Ministers for approval.

Letters to all groups will be issued to groups early next week. Payment will be made immediately to those groups who have already supplied all the required documentation at the time of application.
