7 Monaghan County Council Projects Shortlisted in the 2020 All Ireland Community and Council Awards
The All Ireland Community and Council Awards presented by IPB Insurance and LAMA, highlight and recognise communities and councils working together, bringing national recognition to projects and developments that may otherwise go unrecognised.
The 2020 All Ireland Community & Council Awards will take place on Saturday, 15th February 2020 in Croke Park and will be hosted by RTE Sports commentator, Marty Morrissey. These awards recognise and celebrate community and councils working together. They provide a great opportunity to highlight and celebrate the work done within our communities, to reward our unsung heroes and recognise the phenomenal contribution they’ve made to our lives.
Monaghan County Council is delighted to be shortlisted in 7 of the 21 categories:
-Monaghan Schools of Sanctuary: Best Community Based Initiative.
-Monaghan Alerts: Best Connected Council (Communication & Digital Marketing).
-YOUR VOTE YOUR VOICE- an Easy to read guide to voting: Best Disability Access & Inclusion Initiative.
-Collaborative Action for the Natura Network (CANN): Best Environmental/Ecological Project/Initiative.
-Rossmore Forest Park: Best Public Park.
-43 Social Houses provided at Plás Lorcáin : Rebuilding Ireland at Latlorcan: Best Social Housing Initiative.
-#MyMonaghan Tourism Campaign: Best Tourism Initiative .
