Communication Boards to be installed in playgrounds/parks throughout County Monaghan

Monaghan County Council recently passed a motion to provide Communication Boards to be installed in playgrounds/parks throughout County Monaghan. A communication board is a device that displays photos, symbols, or illustrations to help people with limited language skills express themselves. The user can gesture, point to, or blink at images to communicate with others.  To progress this initiative  we are rolling out a consultation to get some feedback from parents, children  and service providers on how they would like to see this project delivered.
