Fire hose reels are located to provide a reasonably accessible and controlled supply of water to combat a potential fire risk. They are ideal for large high risk environments such as schools, hotels, factories etc. They are designed to I.S. EN 671 – part 1. Hose reels can come in lengths of 30m of 19mm and 25mm hose. Hose Reels are available in fixed, swinging, recessed and concealed versions with automatic or manual valves. Hose reels are used;
- In large areas or corridors where a 9 litre extinguisher may not provide adequate cover.
- In buildings where the floor area exceeds 500m2.
- When required by fire safety certificate or by insurers.

Hose Reel Use
Hose Reels can be used for woods, textiles, furniture, plastics etc. They must not be used on electrical fires and/or flammable liquids.
