Housing Term Maintenance Contract & Contractor Framework 2025 to 2027
Tenders are invited from competent Building Contractors and Crafts Persons for the following: –
Currently Monaghan County Council has a housing portfolio of over 1900 houses spread across the three Municipal Districts in Co. Monaghan. Upkeep of these houses require ongoing maintenance, refurbishment and minor construction work.
Monaghan County Council require the services of a competent contractor to assist them with these ongoing requirements.
The contractor must be available to Monaghan County Council during the normal working week (from 08.30 to 17.00 hrs Monday to Friday inclusive and Saturday until 1.30p.m). Contractor may also be required outside normal hours and over weekends and be able to respond to emergency urgent/reactive works as they arise. The contractor will be expected to carry out the role of Main Contractor, PSDP, Designer and PSCS in the delivery of the project brief.
The works to be carried out by the Main Contractor may consist of but are not limited to the following main items:
- Response maintenance of MCC Housing Stock when required.
- Works associated with the re-letting of MCC Housing Stock.
- Works associated with the pre-letting of recently acquired MCC Housing Stock.
- Minor construction & refurbishment works to MCC Housing Stock.
- Energy efficiency works to MCC Housing Stock.
- Insurance Rectification Works to MCC Housing Stock.
- Any urgent/reactive work arising over the contract period in relation to MCC Housing Stock.
