Culture Night 2021

Culture Night 2021

Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts and takes place on the 3rd Friday of September. From 5pm onwards, cultural venues across the country stay open for everyone to come enjoy the unique experience of Culture Night, a free night of fun, entertainment and discovery.

Monaghan has a vibrant rich cultural community, and this is a great opportunity to sample the area’s cultural and creative offerings for free throughout the evening. The programme has been developing year on year and that is due to the cultural and creative community who partner with us.

For 2021, we were once again challenged with putting together a programme within the health and safety guidelines of Covid19. And our partnering organisations have truly stepped up to the mark and put together a programme which we hope everyone will safely enjoy. Due to current health guidelines, admission to events is limited and most require bookings in advance.

We are delighted to have so many organisations involved this year again and we hope you enjoy exploring the rich cultural landscape of County Monaghan.

Note: Culture Night programme is subject to change/cancellation due to current health guidelines. We are committed to the health and safety of our participants and audience and appreciate your understanding of this matter.
