Castleblayney Community Based CCTV Scheme
Carrickmacross – Castleblayney Municipal District is proposing that CCTV cameras are installed/recommissioned in a number of locations in Castleblayney Town. The aim of the project is to reduce anti-social behaviour and increase safety for all citizens. There will be strict rules in place to protect citizens privacy under Data Protection Legislation. A map of the proposed camera locations is currently on display in the Civic Offices, Riverside Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. Copies will also be available in the branch libraries in Carrickmacross and Castleblayney and can be viewed on the Council’s website here: Map of Castleblayney Proposed CCTV Camera Locations (PDF) .
