Hosted in Carrickmacross Civic Centre this exhibition offers a vivid visual journey into the town’s past, featuring a collection of historical postcards and photographs.
Visitors are invited to explore images of the streets, the people and daily life of Carrickmacross over a century ago.

Local Drama

A special section titled “Drama in Carrickmacross” celebrates the town’s rich theatrical tradition. The display features a selection of photographs showcasing local drama groups and performers dating back to 1901—providing a glimpse into a longstanding passion for performance.
From Carrickmacross to Canada

Visitors will also be introduced to Dr. Carmel McKenna, a distinguished Carrickmacross native whose pioneering medical career brought her to Canada.
