The paper vouchers were so successful. Why the change?
Since its introduction, the paper voucher scheme has been a phenomenal success, generating nearly €11 million in sales. However, its popularity brought challenges that made the program increasingly unsustainable. Businesses faced cumbersome reconciliation processes, and significant resources were required to manage sales and redemptions. Additionally, holding large stocks of paper vouchers created a substantial liability.
To address these issues, a new gift card system has been introduced. This modern solution offers instant, hassle-free reconciliation for businesses, reduces administrative overhead, and eliminates the risks associated with physical voucher storage. The gift card system is not only more secure but also ensures the long-term sustainability of the program.
Does my card have an expiry?
A €2.50 fee will be deducted each month from the card balance, starting on the day after the 12 month anniversary of when the card was purchased and activated.
