It’s back! St. Patrick’s Day is coming upon us once again and Carrickmacross – Castleblayney Municipal District are now taking names of any organisations, businesses and bands who wish to take part in this year’s fun! After the success of previous years parades, with so many groups, businesses and bands taking part, we are anxious to recreate this success and make this year’s parade even bigger and better!
There will be prizes for Best Bands; Best Floats; Best Community Float promoting use of Irish Language and Best Dressed Window promoting Climate Action/Re-cycle/Re-use. Prizes are being kindly sponsored by John Tobin Estate Agents; The Nuremore Hotel; Killarue Interiors; Birdy’s Newsagents; MCC Environment Section and Coiste Na Gaeilge.
The parade will be at the usual time of 3pm on Thursday 17th March.
