The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context (“the Espoo Convention”) requires that, where projects that may have transboundary effects are proposed i.e. effects across national boundaries, local authorities must display web links to the relevant projects. Monaghan County Council will publish any such project on this webpage.
