The preparation of the Monaghan County Development Plan 2019-2025 commenced on 9th March 2017.

A Chief Executive’s Report has been prepared on all of the submissions/observations that were received during the 9th of March to the 5th of May 2017 consultation period.

This report was submitted to the elected members on 28th June for their consideration and the direction was given to prepare draft plan on 4th Sept 2017.

At the Council Meeting of Monaghan County Council on Monday 4th September 2017, the Members gave direction on the Chief Executive’s Report regarding the preparation of the draft plan. The Report gives a summary of the submissions and outlines the Chief Executive’s Policy Recommendations per topic.
