Monaghan County Council intends to close the following road in the Municipal Districts of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney, Ballybay- Clones and Monaghan in County Monaghan.

 

 Dates of Closure:            Monday 8th August 2022 – Saturday 15th October 2022

 

Road Closed:

N2 Castleblayney Bypass – from the townland of Kilcrow (N2 Clontibret Roundabout) to the townland of Tullyvin (N2  Tullyvin Roundabout).

Times:                                  9pm – 6am 

To Facilitate:                      Road Re-Surfacing

Roads closed:

  • R189 Newbliss to Threemilehouse Road : For a distance of 2560m between its junction with the LS6400 at Greenans Cross and LT64112 to Aghabog
  • R212 Clones to Scotshouse Road: For a distance of 5,274m from its junction with the R183 in Clones Town to its junction with the LP2220 at Bells Cross
