Temporary Closing Of Roads – Road Closed: R180 – 3 in the townland of Cornacarrow and Tullynanegish. From the junction between the R180 and the LT 41131 and Lough Egish crossroads

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Ballybay-Clones in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:               Saturday 23rd July 2022 to Friday 12th August 2022

Times:                               24 hour closure

To Facilitate:                     Road Resurfacing works

Road Closed:                     R180 – 3 in the townland of Cornacarrow and Tullynanegish

From the junction between the R180 and the LT 41131 and Lough Egish crossroads.

 

Diversion Routes:

Traffic wishing to proceed on the R-180 in the direction of Lough Egish from Carrickmacross town, will be diverted via the N-2 to Castleblaney/N-2 junction, then turning left the R181 Lough Egish to Shercock Road and continuing along the R181 to the Lough Egish.

Traffic wishing to proceed on the R-180 in the direction of Carrickmacross town from Lough Egish,

will be diverted on to the R-181 at the Lough Egish crossroads, continuing along the R-181 to

the Castleblaney/N-2 junction, then turning left on to the N2 and continuing along the N-2 to the Carrickmacross town.

 

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access only, no through

road).

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the A/Senior, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 12th July 2022.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
