Sustainable Tourism Development Workshop for Glaslough

For the attention of all community & voluntary groups and individuals in Glaslough & area interested in Sustainable Tourism Development

Monaghan County Council and Fáilte Ireland invite you to attend a facilitated workshop on Tuesday 26th September from 4-6pm in the Oakland Community Centre, Glaslough.

The workshop will be facilitated by Professor Terry Stevens and will focus on the following:

• Sharing knowledge from elsewhere based on examples of sustainable tourism development and analysis of good practice
• Encouraging open discussions amongst all stakeholders as to the lessons learned from this knowledge sharing
• Discussing what is meant by sustainable community tourism, the geography involved, and the voices to be heard
• Identifying initiatives that could be deployed locally based upon experiences elsewhere
