Adventure Playground at Lough Muckno

Monaghan County Council and its partners Newry & Mourne District Council (Lead Partner) and Monaghan County Enterprise Fund were awarded £1,373,653 to undertake a number of projects in the Castleblayney/South Armagh Area

Completed capital projects included:

  • Major angling works at Lough Muckno, Castleblayney
  • Adventure Playground at Lough Muckno
  • Playground at Slieve Gullion, South Armagh
  • Access improvements on Slieve Gullion
  • Enterprise Centre development in Ballybay
