East Border Region Ltd is a Local Authority led organisation which comprises Local Authorities on both sides of the border. As part of the above project Monaghan County Council recently completed the following:
- Development of walking trails in Dartrey Forest, Rockcorry
- Provision of disabled angling access at Creevy Lake, Carrickmacross
- Development of Barry McGuigan Park, Clones
- Development of walking trails in Ballybay
- Improvement of access and heritage interpretation works at Errigal Truagh Graveyard
