Monaghan Peace Campus, a transformative civic space dedicated to fostering community engagement and peacebuilding, managed and operated by Monaghan County Council, is proud to announce the launch of its new website www.monaghanpeacecampus.com
The Peace Campus is supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) https://www.seupb.eu/
The Department of Rural and Community Development and Monaghan County Council also funded the project.
The website offers an in-depth look at the campus’s wide-ranging amenities and services, designed to serve as a welcoming hub for individuals, organisations, and the wider community. Located in the heart of Monaghan town, the Peace Campus is more than a venue —it’s a mission-driven space created to promote dialogue, collaboration and social change.
The new website provides users with easy access to information about the campus’s multi-use community hire rooms, together with information about its peace-building activities, plans, services, partnerships and amenities. Key features of the Peace Campus website include:

“Our vision is to create a space where every individual feels valued, heard, and supported,” said Christina Captieux, Culture and Development Manager of the Peace Campus. “This website reflects our commitment to accessibility, transparency, and community. Whether you’re looking to host an activity, attend one of the many events held on site, or simply enjoy a coffee with friends, the Peace Campus is here for everyone.”
“The website launch marks a significant milestone in Peace Campus’s development journey to become a central resource for community-led initiatives and peaceful civic engagement,” stated Robert Burns, Chief Executive, Monaghan County Council. “It also reflects our dedication to innovation, inclusion and cross-community commitment.”
