Each Local Authority is required under the Local Government Acts 2001-2014 to prepare a Corporate Plan.
The focus of the corporate plan is to build on what has been achieved in the past and continue to deliver a modern customer focused service in the future.
The primary aim of the plan is to make Monaghan a better place to live, work, invest, socialise and above all participate in.
The main objectives of the corporate plan are as follows:
- Achievement of sustainable growth.
- To develop and enhance local democracy.
- Promote a positive image of Monaghan.
- Delivery an effective management of services to the people of Monaghan.
- Grow the competence and capacity of Monaghan County Council.
