DRAFT COUNTY MONAGHAN (REGULATION AND CONTROL OF THE CONSUMPTION OF INTOXICATING SUBSTANCES IN PUBLIC PLACES) BYE-LAWS 2019.

 

Monaghan County Council has approved Draft Bye-Laws entitled County Monaghan (Regulation and Control of the Consumption of Intoxicating Substances In Public Places) Bye-Laws 2019.

 

The purpose of the Bye-Laws is to regulate and control the consumption and possession of intoxicating substances in all public places in County Monaghan.

 

A copy of the Draft Bye-Laws will be available for public inspection at the Council’s Offices, The Glen, Monaghan for a period of one month from the date of this notice.  A copy of the draft Bye-Laws is available from the Corporate Services Section, Monaghan County Council, The Glen, Monaghan (047 30538) and here: Draft Regulation And Control Of The Consumption Of Intoxicating Substances In Public Places Bye Laws 2019 (PDF)

 

Written submissions on the Draft Bye-Laws are invited from members of the public and  may be made to the Council not later than 5.00pm on Friday 22nd November 2019 – submissions should be addressed to the undersigned and can be emailed to info@monaghancoco.ie or posted to Monaghan County Council, County Offices, The Glen, Monaghan.

 

The Council will consider any such submissions before making the Bye-Laws.  The Bye-Laws will be made by the Council not earlier than two months from the date of this notice and shall come into effect on a date to be specified in the Bye-Laws, being not less than 30 days from the date of their making.
