The Heritage Office is responsible for the development and implementation of the Biodiversity and Heritage Strategic Plan. The position of Heritage Officer and the implementation of the Heritage Plan are jointly funded by the Heritage Council and Monaghan County Council.
Ceangal, the Local Authority Heritage Programme, is delivered in partnership between the Heritage Council and Local Government Ireland.
