Temporary Closing Of Roads

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross/Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:              Monday March 2nd, 2020.

 

Times:                                  8am to 5pm.      

 

To Facilitate:                     Irish Water installation of a Bulk Meter.

 

Road Closed:                     R178-5 Parnell Street from Main Street to Bridewell Lane.          

 

Diversion Routes:

Traffic will be diverted straight on R927-3 Main Street onto Monaghan Street, turn left onto the LP-4050 Ross Road.

 

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the Head of Roads, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday February 18th, 2020.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.

 

This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75).

Local Elections (Disclosure of Donations and Expenditure) Act 1999

Each person who, in the preceding year, was a member of a local authority is required, under Section 19E of the Local Elections (Disclosure of Donations and Expenditure) Act 1999 to furnish to their local authority, not later than 31st January, a Donation Statement indicating whether during the preceding calendar year the member received a donation exceeding €600 in value.

The Members’ Statements can now be inspected at the offices of Monaghan County Council, Council Offices, The Glen, Monaghan or on our website www.monaghan.ie
