POSTAL VOTERS LIST
YOU CAN VOTE BY POST IF YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL ILLNESS OR A PHYSICAL DISABILITY, ARE LIVING AT HOME AND ARE UNABLE TO GO TO A POLLING STATION
You may apply for entry on the POSTAL voters list, which will come into force on 15th February, 2022, if you are unable to go in person to vote at your polling station due to a physical illness or disability which is likely to continue for the duration of the Register of Electors now being prepared.
A Blue application form (PV1) may be obtained at Monaghan County Council Office, local Library or Municipal District Offices during usual hours of business, or online at
https://monaghan.ie/register-of-electors/ or www.checktheregister.ie
You should complete the application in accordance with the notes on the back of the form and, if this is your first application for entry on the Postal Voters List, have the Medical Certificate completed by your doctor.
If you have had a Postal Vote in the last year there is no need to re-apply.
Completed forms should be submitted to Sonya Long, Corporate Services, Monaghan County Council, County Offices, The Glen, Monaghan, before 25th November 2021.

Emergency Extension of Night Time Temporary Closing of Roads
Monaghan County Council gives notice to extend the closure of the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan.
Dates of Closure: Sunday 5th September 2021 – Friday 10th September 2021
Sunday 12th September 2021 – Friday 17th September 2021
Road Closed: N54 North Road Monaghan Town
Times: 7pm – 7am
To Facilitate: Additional Road Renewal Works on the N54 Monaghan Town
Diversion Routes: Main Diversion via N54 Macartan Road, R937 Dublin Road, N2 Monaghan By-Pass then N54 for Monaghan Town Centre Access via Glaslough Street.
Local Diversions and access to properties will be in place for the duration of the closure. Every effort will be made to minimise delays. Emergency Services access will be catered for at all times.

Monaghan County Council hereby gives notice of Emergency Closure in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994 that it will close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:
Date of Closure: 3 weeks between the dates 06/09/2021 – 24/09/2021
Times: 08.00 – 18.00
To Facilitate: Resurfacing works on the LT14302, Tirmacmoe Road
Road Closed:
LT14302, Tirmacmoe Road between R214 (Castleshane to Keady Road) and LT14301 (Clerran to Moy Etra Road).
Diversion Routes:
Northbound – Via LT14301 (Clerran to Moy Etra Road), then N2 (Monaghan to Castleblaney Road), then R214 (Castleshane to Keady Road).
Southbound – Via R214 (Castleshane to Keady Road), then N2 (Monaghan to Castleblaney Road), then LT14301 (Clerran to Moy Etra Road).

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 81(1) of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) for development at
Lands to the rear of 11 to 17 Main Street, Cornamucklaglass, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.
The proposed development consists of the following:
Permission to demolish existing partially built duplex units (4 no. units) and construct housing development containing 7 no. fully serviced units consisting of 3 no. 2 bedroom two storey townhouses, 4 no. 2 bedroom semidetached bungalows, connections to existing foul main, watermain and surface water discharge, landscaped open space and all ancillary and associated works at Lands to the rear of 11 to 17 Main Street, Cornamucklaglass, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.
In accordance with Article 81(ca) and 120(1B)(b)(i) of the above-mentioned regulations, Monaghan County Council, as the competent authority, has concluded from a Screening Determination, based on an examination of the nature, size and location of the proposed development that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and as such has determined that an EIA is not required. The details of which are available to the general public.
At any time before the expiration of 4 weeks from the date of publication of this notice, any person may apply to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the proposed development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, during public opening hours at Monaghan County Council, Planning Section, No1 Dublin Street, Monaghan, Co.
