After two years with no Parade, we are all ready to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
Following the cancellation of the St. Patrick’s Day Parades in 2020 and 2021, this year’s festival will make a long-awaited return to the streets of Monaghan with a Parade and family entertainment, so let the celebrations begin with our St Patrick’s Day Parade in Monaghan Town on Thursday, 17th March at 3pm.
Starting point for entrants is the Lower Courthouse Car Park.
The theme this year is “Brighter Days Together” and participants are asked to incorporate this theme into their entry. Get your entries in as soon as possible to Monaghan Municipal District.
Come and join the parade and be in with a chance of winning a prize for:
- Best Float/Display (Community),
- Best Float/Display (Commercial),
- Best Float/Display incorporating the Irish language
- Best Window Display,
- Best Window Display incorporating the Irish language,
- Best Band.
Come along and make this a day for all, to come together and celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
