Environment, Biodiversity and Circular Economy Fund 2027

Monaghan County Council’s Environment, Biodiversity and Circular Economy Fund is now open. Closing date for applications will be Friday 4th December 2026. The reason for this early closing date is to facilitate the Council in giving a decision as early as possible to groups, so they will be able to make their plans for the year accordingly.

The scheme incorporates the Local Environment Action Fund (LEAF) supported by IPB Insurance as a key funding component, supporting initiatives that deliver environmental improvements, encourage community participation and contribute to climate action, biodiversity protection and circular economy objectives.
