MONAGHAN COUNTY COUNCIL LOUGH MUCKNO PARK BYE-LAWS 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that the Municipal District of Carrickmacross – Castleblayney, in accordance with Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001, proposes to make the Monaghan County Council Lough Muckno Park Bye-Laws 2018 for the purpose of regulating the use, operation, protection and management of Lough Muckno Park which is owned, controlled and managed by and in the charge of Monaghan County Council and the Municipal District of Carrickmacross – Castleblayney. The bye-laws proposed to be adopted are to ensure that Lough Muckno Park is provided as a public amenity and used by members of the public to the maximum extent in safety and comfort.

A copy of the draft bye-laws may be inspected at the offices of the Municipal District of Carrickmacross – Castleblayney, Civic Offices, Riverside Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday (exclusive of Bank Holidays) for a period of one month from the date of publication of this Notice and may be viewed on the Municipal District’s website at www.carrickmacross.ie, www.castleblayney.ie, www.monaghan.ie and in the Carrickmacross Branch Library.

A copy of the draft bye-laws will be given to any person applying for it. It is proposed in the draft bye-laws to make provision for the imposition of fixed payments in accordance with Section 206 of the Local Government Act 2001.

The Municipal District of Carrickmacross – Castleblayney will consider any submissions in relation to the proposed draft bye-laws which are made to it by any person within 10 days after the end of the period for the inspection of the proposed draft bye-laws.
