Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:
Date of Closure: Between Monday 24th April 2023 and Thursday 30th November 2023
(Each Road may be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks within the Closure Period)
To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works
Road Closed:
LP-1210 for a distance of 3300m between its junction with the N2
at Emyvale and the junction with the LS-5205 at Aghaboy.
Diversion Routes:
Northbound traffic travelling from Glaslough to Emyvale on the LP-1211 will be diverted left onto the LS-5206 heading West, then traffic will procced West until it becomes the LS-5207. Traffic will
continue along the LS-5207 until the junction of the N2, then traffic will be diverted right onto the N2 and proceed North to Emyvale.
Southbound traffic travelling from Emyvale -Glaslough will be diverted onto the LP-1200 and proceed Northeast until the road becomes the LS-5220, then proceed on the LS-5220 to the
townland of Monmurry and turn right on to the LS-5204 and proceed Southbound to the LP-1211 and turn right to Glaslough.
All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
