Temporary Closing Of Roads – L-40054 in the townlands of Corhelshinagh, Lisirril, Carrickadooey and Faraghy

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Ballybay/Clones in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:              3^rd July 2023 to 21^st July 2023

 To Facilitate:                     Bridge Rehabilitation Works

 Road Closed:                     L-40054 in the townlands of Corhelshinagh, Lisirril, Carrickadooey and Faraghy

 

Diversion Routes:

Traffic wishing to travel on the L-40054 in the direction of Sreenty from the R181-9 will be diverted by remaining on the R181, and then turning right onto the L-4005.

 

Traffic wishing to travel on the L-40054 in the direction of the R181 will be diverted by remaining on the L-40051, then turning left onto the L-4005, and then continuing along the R181.

 

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access will be catered for. No through road will be available at the bridge works).

 

Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan, not later than Tuesday, 20^th June 2023. Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
