Temporary Closing of Roads – R214

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

Date of Closure:               Monday 17^th July 2023 to Friday 28^th July 2023

Times:                                  9:00am – 17:00pm (Monday-Friday Only)

To Facilitate:                     Surface dressing works 

Road Closed:                     R214      

 

Diversion Routes:

An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted via:

B3 Derrynoose Road (NI), B3 Castleblayney Road (NI), B3 Davis Street (NI), A29 Kinelowen Street (NI), B132 St Patricks Street (NI), B132 Maddan Road (NI), A3 Monaghan Road (NI), N12 (ROI), R213 (ROI), N2 (ROI) and R214 (ROI).

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of the above-mentioned roads with the Roads Department, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 4^th July 2023.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
