Temporary Closing Of Roads – R178-5 Parnell Street from Main Street to the R178 Shercock Road.

Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following roads in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

Date:                   Thursday 2^nd November to Thursday 30^th November 2023

Times:                8:00am to 18:00pm

To Facilitate:     Road Surfacing Improvement Works

Road Closed:     R178-5 Parnell Street from Main Street to the R178 Shercock Road.

Diversion Routes:

Traffic will be diverted straight on R927-3 Main Street onto Monaghan Street, turn left onto the LP-4050 Ross Road.

Note:

Monaghan Co. Council is now implementing measures to restrict the movement of HGV’s (Heavy Goods Vehicles) through Main Street, Carrickmacross between the hours of 8am to 5am Monday to Sunday. These restrictions only apply to vehicles of 3-axle or greater.

This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
