Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:
Date of Closure: 8th November 2024 until the 6th December 2024
Times: 8am to 8pm
To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works
Road Closed:
R182-3: Lurganearly
For a distance of 800m approx. 100m before its junction with the LT76501 (Lurganearly hall)) and the junction of LP-3604.
Diversion Routes:
North Bound Traffic – Diverted left exiting Castleblayney onto the R181 to Keady, turning right in Keady and proceeding to the A29 Dalkey road via Victoria street.
South Bound Traffic – Diverted onto the A29 at the A25 Blayney Road junction coming from Newtownhamilton. Travel south, exit right onto the B30 Newry Road at Fords Cross travelling through Crossmaglen remain on the B30 to Cullaville. Turn right in Cullaville towards the N53 to Castleblayney via the A37 Concession Road. Travel north on this road to the R938. Turn right into Castleblayney. Turn right at main street Castleblayney and proceed onto the R181. Turn right at the next junction for the R182.
